ENW ESTIMATES NORTHWEST

TAKEOFF REQUEST TERMS OF SERVICE

By submitting a takeoff request to ENW Estimates Northwest ("ENW"), the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms of Service.

1. Material Takeoffs Are Estimates

ENW uses reasonable efforts to provide accurate and complete material takeoffs based on the plans, specifications, and other project documents provided by the customer at the time of the request.

However, all quantities and material lists provided by ENW are estimates only. ENW does not warrant or guarantee that the actual amount, type, size, grade, specification, or quantity of material required to complete the project will not differ from the information contained in the takeoff report.

Builder/customer must verify all material takeoff quantities prior to ordering materials or commencing construction.

2. Customer Responsibility to Verify

The customer, builder, contractor, supplier, and/or other party using the takeoff report is responsible for reviewing and verifying all project information and material requirements before relying upon the report.

This includes, but is not limited to, verification of:

  • All material types, grades, sizes, quantities, and specifications.

  • All dimensions and project requirements.

  • All roof materials, including material type, size, and quantity.

  • Siding square footage, siding materials, trim materials, and quantities in the field.

  • Engineered lumber type, length, size, and specifications prior to ordering.

  • Field conditions that may require additions, omissions, substitutions, or alterations to the material list.

  • All applicable plan revisions, addenda, specifications, and project changes.

For all trussed areas, the truss supplier is responsible for providing and/or specifying all required hardware, blocks, vented blocks, bracing, and other truss-related components and requirements.

3. Plans & Project Documents

ENW's takeoff is based solely upon the plans, specifications, and other project information provided to ENW at the time the takeoff is prepared.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all plans and documents submitted to ENW are complete, accurate, current, and applicable to the project.

ENW is not responsible for errors, omissions, discrepancies, or additional material requirements resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, revised, illegible, or missing plans, specifications, or other project information.

Any revisions or changes made to the project after submission may require a revised takeoff and may result in additional fees and/or turnaround time.

4. Field Conditions

Actual field conditions may differ from the plans and may require alterations to the quantities or materials included in the takeoff.

ENW does not perform field verification and is not responsible for identifying or accounting for field conditions that are not clearly represented in the plans or other documents provided to ENW.

The customer, builder, and/or contractor is responsible for verifying actual field conditions prior to ordering materials and commencing construction.

5. No Warranty or Guarantee

ENW's quantity reports are provided for informational and reference purposes only and are based solely upon the plans, specifications, and other project documents provided at the time of the estimate.

While every reasonable effort is made to produce accurate and complete material takeoffs, ENW does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any takeoff report.

The customer is solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all quantities, dimensions, specifications, materials, and project requirements prior to ordering materials or commencing construction.

6. Release of Liability

By submitting a takeoff request and/or accepting or using a takeoff report prepared by ENW, the customer acknowledges the limitations described in these Terms of Service.

The customer agrees to release and hold harmless ENW Estimates Northwest, its owners, employees, affiliates, and partners from any and all liability for errors, omissions, additions, discrepancies, material shortages or overages, or damages arising from or related to the use of the takeoff report or the plans, specifications, and project documents upon which the report is based.

The customer acknowledges that final responsibility for verifying the accuracy and suitability of all materials and quantities rests with the customer, builder, contractor, supplier, and/or other party responsible for ordering or installing the materials.

7. Agreement to Pay

By submitting a takeoff request to ENW, the customer agrees to pay all charges associated with the requested services in accordance with ENW's current pricing, including any applicable minimum charges, additional services, revisions, and rush or expedited service fees selected or authorized by the customer.

Submission of a takeoff request constitutes the customer's authorization for ENW to begin work and agreement to pay for the services requested.

Invoices are due in accordance with the payment terms stated on the customer's invoice or otherwise established between ENW and the customer. The customer agrees to remit payment in full by the applicable due date.

Requests for changes, additions, revisions, or services outside the scope of the original takeoff request may result in additional charges. ENW will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in scope or additional charges when applicable.

Once ENW has begun work on a submitted takeoff request, the customer remains responsible for charges associated with work performed, even if the project is subsequently cancelled, postponed, revised, or no longer requires the completed takeoff.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate billing information and for promptly notifying ENW of any questions or concerns regarding an invoice.

8. Turnaround Times & Rush Services

Standard turnaround times are based on ENW's current workload and queue and are estimates only. Unless expressly confirmed otherwise by ENW, submission of a takeoff request does not guarantee completion by a particular date.

When available, customers may request rush or expedited service for an additional fee. Rush requests are subject to availability and acceptance by ENW.

ENW will make reasonable efforts to complete accepted rush requests within the selected service timeframe. However, project complexity, incomplete or revised plans, missing information, technical issues, or other circumstances outside ENW's reasonable control may affect completion.
